The WAM film contest will be screened at the Blue Mouse Theatre (2611 N Proctor St Tacoma WA), on Nov. 16th 2018 at 10pm presented by Tacoma Filmmakers and Friday Night Frights.
Please note, the Nov.16th screening for the WAM film entries is also part of the "Friday Night Frights" show, a monthly showing of horror films on the third Friday of the month at the historic Blue Mouse Theatre. We encourage participants to stay and watch it. Admission into the Blue Mouse for the entire event is $6.

ATTENTION FILMMAKERS! Starts Sept. 1st 2018
The Curse of the Retro Horror and Sci-Fi Theme WAM Film Competition and Screening
Filmmakers have 2 months to make a quality film of one-minute-length. The film competition starts Sept. 1st 2018 and ends Oct. 31st 2018. Films must be turned in on or before Oct. 31st 2018 via FILMFREEWAY. All films must include required criteria. Required criteria: 1) Finished film must be one minute in length
2) Film must have a retro look or vibe. 1950s-1980s.
3) Film must feature a homemade prop that features prominently in your film. Think: The Necronomicon from Evil Dead, the VHS tape from The Ring. Etc.. This contest is open to Tacoma, WA as well as the rest of the known world. So get busy and build your One Minute Masterpiece!
Entry fee is five dollars.
Important: All material used in film must be yours, owned by you legally, or in public domain. No copyright infringement allowed. Films violating this rule will not be shown at the festival, not included on the Tacoma Filmmakers Website, or any connections there of, and not be eligible for any prizes awarded. Get Creative! The best films will be picked for screening (due to time constraints). All films will be featured after the event on the Tacoma Film Alliance YouTube page.
